This makes it one of the leading states in the Northeast region in terms of production & supply of cut flowers to mainland consumer markets. It is also the top producer and exporter of large cardamoms in the country. Sikkim enjoys a strategic locational advantage and is home to 315 glacier lakes and the world's third highest mountain peak Mount Kanchenjunga that attracts a large number of tourists from across the world.
