The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India is presently constructing two Dedicated Freight Corridors in India - the Eastern Corridor (EDFC) the Western Corridor (WDFC) with a total route of 3,360 km.

DFCCIL now intends to further boost this traffic and attract additional traffic to originate from and terminate at new terminals on the DFC system to be developed through private investment in land/infrastructure/facilitation etc. DFCCIL has envisaged establishing a few Logistics Parks / Freight Terminals / Parcel Terminals along the DFC corridors which can provide the required infrastructure to handle various categories of cargo that can potentially come to DFCs.

A Model RFP Bid Document has been prepared and suggestions are invited from stakeholders in railway transport activities (Freight terminal operators, Train Operators, transport experts, Govt. Transport Officials, Financial Institutions, Transport Consultants, Transport Academicians, etc) for shaping this bid document by DFCCIL.
